BOROUGH OF BRIELLE ORDINANCE NO. 1129

 

 

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER SEVEN OF THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF BRIELLE ENTITLED "VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC"

BE IT ORDAINED, by the Governing Body of the Borough of Brielle that Chapter 7 Section 14 "Parking Prohibited at all times on Certain Streets" shall now be amended to rescind all previously codified references to Green Avenue.

 

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that Chapter 7 Section 14 shall be amended to read as follows:

 

  • Green Avenue - north side from Union Lane easterly 955 feet to Ocean Avenue.
  • Green Avenue - westerly side from Ocean Avenue northeasterly 1,200 feet to the Green Avenue Bridge.
  • Green Avenue - south side from Union Lane easterly 240 feet to the westerly side of 622 Green Avenue driveway.
  • Green Avenue - south side from easterly side of 622 Green Avenue driveway easterly 40 feet to beyond crosswalk.
  • Green Avenue - south side from east side of NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line tracks easterly 335 feet to a point 60 feet northeast of Ocean Avenue.
  • Green Avenue - easterly side from the northerly side of the northerly intersection with Crescent Drive 185 feet northerly to the Green Avenue Bridge.

 

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that Chapter 7 Section 35.l(a) Borough of Brielle Town Hall Parking Lot, 601 Union Lane, subsection "l" is hereby amended to include a new section (d.) that states the municipal parking lot shall be restricted to employees and those with business to conduct at Borough Hall during the hours of 9:00am to 4:00pm.

 

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that all ordinances or parts of ordinance inconsistent with the foregoing are hereby repealed, but only to the extent of inconsistency.

 

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage and publication according to law.
