Shade Tree Commission Announces Dog Days of Summer BIG Tree Competition!

Do you have a big or unusual tree in your yard? Are you enjoying the shade under a huge Red Oak or an unusual Umbrella Pine? Let's see how those trees measure up to your neighbor's big trees! Measure the circumference of the trunk of your biggest tree 4.5 feet from the ground. Send your tree variety and measurement and a photo if possible to Kathy Schmidt by email: click here.
All entries must be submitted by Labor Day. Prizes will be awarded to winners in all categories, such as largest Maple or White Pine, Holly or Magnolia, etc., or the most unusual tree variety!
