County Clerk Hanlon Reminds Mail-In Ballot Voters of the County’s Enhanced BallotTrax Notification System

BallotTrax System Tracks the Return of Mail-In Ballots for County voters

FREEHOLD, NJ – Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon is reminding Monmouth County voters who choose to vote by mail for the 2023 General Election that they can sign up for the County’s enhanced ballot tracking notification system. The County’s ballot tracking system, BallotTrax, was launched three years ago by Clerk Hanlon and the Monmouth County Board of Elections to notify voters regarding the status of their mail-in ballots.

Voters who sign up for Monmouth County BallotTrax will receive alerts of when their ballots have been received by the County Board of Elections for counting. Voters can opt to enable notifications by text message, phone, or email, and can sign up for the free software at MonmouthBallotTrax.com.

Monmouth County was the first county in the State of New Jersey to launch a supplemental ballot tracking software that provides enhanced notification features for voters. BallotTrax notifies voters of the status of their ballots, rather than requiring the voters to continually log into the system for updates.

“Transparency is key in elections and Monmouth County’s election officials are proud to offer the BallotTrax system to our residents who vote by mail,” said Clerk Hanlon. “BallotTrax provides clarity and peace of mind for our voters by allowing them to follow the journey of their ballots from start to finish. I encourage all mail-in ballot voters to sign up for the free system.”

To sign up for the BallotTrax system, voters can log onto MonmouthBallotTrax.com.  Voters can also check the status of their ballots via New Jersey’s ballot tracking system at https://www.nj.gov/state/elections/vote-track-my-ballot.shtml
